Poem "Did You Ever?" from eBook "Vi, Ouvi, Senti"

Image
Did You Ever? Did you ever love a woman and knew she didn’t care? Dream of her and hope your dream would last forever? Look into her eyes and say a little prayer? Look into her heart and wish that yours was there? Did you ever feel like crying and knew you’d get nowhere? Ask her a question and she didn’t answer? Pick up the phone and end up not calling her? Wish she’d come to you like a wave comes to shore? Did you ever send her a silent kiss from your window? Hear her singing when the lights were way down low? Smell her perfume at a distance of a mile? Did you ever wish she’d send you a tender smile? See her long hair flowing in the night wind? Try, with no success, to get her off your mind? Poem by Vitor M. C. Rodrigues  from eBook "Vi, Ouvi, Senti" Buy eBook "Vi, Ouvi, Senti" here:
